Eye care and hospital support in Ghana

The foundation works to make basic healthcare easier to reach in underserved parts of Ghana. One recent gift was 100 pairs of medical sunglasses for Tamale Teaching Hospital, to support care for patients with vision problems.

The team also held a health screening in Achiase District, in the Eastern Region. Residents received free eye screening, and prescription medical sunglasses were given at no cost.

The same pattern, supplies, screening, and support for local facilities, is how the foundation wants to reach more districts. Volunteers can help with screening and distribution. Donations buy the supplies.
