Our work

What we do, and how we do it.

Education, health, food, water, community life, and the skills that let people carry themselves forward, guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

What we do

The essentials that open a fairer chance.

B.Y. Foundation e.V. works with disadvantaged children and communities on the things that decide a day, and then a future: education, healthcare, nutrition, clean water, and the skills that let people earn and stand on their own.

The work is practical and in person. It is organised around five areas, carried in Ghana, Bangladesh, South Africa, and with supporters in Germany and Japan.

Education and school support

School materials, uniforms, shoes, scholarships, mentorship, and classrooms so children can learn with dignity.

In Ghana the foundation has described support that includes school supplies, textbooks, bags, shoes, wheelchairs, scholarships, and mentorship, reaching nearly 10,000 pupils and students. The public library in Sekyere East is complete. One current campaign is a new classroom block for Jerusalem D/A Primary School.

Clean water

Support for community efforts that make clean, safe water part of everyday life.

Clean water is part of the foundation’s commitment to healthier daily life, alongside the communities that are building that access.

Skills and livelihood support

Skills and livelihoods

Practical skills, advocacy, and support so women and young people can earn a living and stand on their own.

How we do it

A method, not a one-off gesture.

The foundation works in person, with partners, and for the longer piece of change, from the first conversation to the classroom, the clinic, and the livelihood that follows.

  1. 01

    Start where people are

We listen to families, schools, clinics, and local partners first. The work follows a real need in a real place, not a plan written far away.

  2. 02

Give what can be used now

Uniforms, books, meals, eye screening, medicine, and classrooms. Support is practical, visible, and meant to restore dignity the same day.

  3. 03

Work with partners, not around them

Schools, hospitals, the Ghana Education Service, the Gold Coast Organization, and volunteers across five countries carry the work with us.

  4. 04

    Stay for the longer piece

Emergency relief sits beside lasting work: a school block, a skill, a small business, and follow-through after the cameras leave.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

Nine Goals. The work already underway.

These are the UN Sustainable Development Goals that the foundation’s programmes already contribute to. Alignment describes contribution. It is not a claim of United Nations affiliation.
